The active-active architecture provides multi-layer redundancy through RAID triple-parity, synchronised in-memory write protection, IP failover and protocol-level failover, so services keep running through firmware updates, maintenance windows, and unplanned hardware failures. Performance at scale. With up to 2,048 GB of memory and 100GbE networking, the system reaches 2 million IOPS with sub-millisecond latency and 30 GB/s throughput — around three times the performance of the previous flagship FS6400. It supports both file and block protocols, including NVMe-oF, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SMB and NFS, so it slots into existing VMware, Hyper-V, and database environments without redesign.
Grow without disruption. The 4U chassis holds 48 NVMe SSD bays and scales to 1.65PB of raw capacity with up to seven expansion units (PAX224).
