The dual-port QXG-100G2SF-CX6 100GbE network expansion card with NVIDIA Mellanox® ConnectX-6 Dx controller supports PCIe 4.0 and provides up to 200Gbps total throughput to overcome performance bottlenecks. Supporting offload functionality including RDMA, RoCE v1/v2, and SR-IOV (1K VFs & 8 PFs), the QXG-100G2SF-CX6 greatly boosts network efficiency and is ideal for I/O-intensive and latency-sensitive virtualization and data centers. upports RoCE for Reduced Latency and Enhanced Performance for VM Environments

The QXG-100G2SF-CX6 supports RoCE, which can access a network directly in RAM to effectively reduce latency and enhance performance and efficiency for VMware® virtualization environments.

Supports iSER for Improved VM Performance

The QXG-100G2SF-CX6 supports iSER, combining iSCSI and RDMA (Remote Direct Memory Access), which can bypass general network drivers, the socket layer, and to directly enter memory buffers of the server and storage. Response time is also reduced to ensure service quality of the NAS.

Ensure reliable data transfer with Forward Error Correction (FEC)

The QXG-100G2SF-CX6 supports FEC to overcome packet loss – a potentially common occurrence in fast, long-distance networks. FEC helps the receiving side detect and recover lost data to correct bit errors, thus ensuring reliable data transmission over “noisy” communication channels. With three FEC modes, you can use a suitable cable and switch to build an optimal network environment.

1. The transmitter (source) and the destination (receiver) must use the same mode.
2. If the QXG-100G2SF-CX6 cannot connect to the switch, please check if the latest firmware of the switch supports FEC. If FEC is not supported by the switch, the FEC function of the NIC should be disabled using the NAS or computer operating system.
